John Boyega has put an end to rumors that he will replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the character being a fan favorite at one point. It’s evident that the actor isn’t ready to take on any MCU roles just yet, even though his response regarding the replacement was made a month earlier.

Following the removal of the star, fans started looking for Jonathan Majors’ replacement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This led to online debates. This ruling followed a New York jury’s verdict that he had harassed and assaulted his ex-girlfriend during a domestic argument.

Joh Boyega shared a picture of himself and Captain America’s actor Anthony Mackie last month. Soon after, he was contacted by curious fans who wanted him to speak with the MCU star about recasting Kang. In response, the actor declared that he had no desire to take Jonathan’s place in any superhero franchise—not now, not in the future.

For those who don’t know, It was originally planned for Jonathan Majors to portray multiple Kang personas in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania introduced this concept initially. Later on, in Season 2 of the TV show Loki, he portrayed Victor Timely, a reincarnation of Kang.
